So I awoke at like 6 am and Molly and I went for a run before heading to the bike shop to meet the team. I was pretty excited about the new "career" choice and after a day of doing said "career" I am still pretty stoked. Tired. But stoked.
I love traveling and I my new found love for bicycles, it just makes sense for me to do this. And I love to help people, which I did plenty of today. Helping Witt with his front derailer, noticing a pretty good cut in Robs wheel and setting him up with a spare and helping our younger team, Georgia Cycle Sports, with a tire change and minor true has really made my day.
This job doesn't pay a lot, nothing to be exact, but it is fullfilling that I could careless at the moment. I love it!
So after driving to the hotel and getting the team checked in, the team went out to eat and to celebrate. Lightly I hope. I stayed behind to tend to other things. Like cleaning the water bottles, glueing a tire, replacing a tire, and organizing the two tool boxes into one. Plus the hotel is amazing. Especialy for a Comfort Inn. In the deep south.... I'm about to take a shower. And hopefully when I get out the boys will be back with a beer or two for me. I'm so tired at the moment. But it feels good.
