New to New York

After having a very scary first two weeks here I thought all was lost for me. Sleeping on the streets and working full time. My boss has been great as to giving me an advance so I could get a hotel a few night but quickly washed itself out. I finally found a place to stay in Brooklyn and have met some really amazing house mates.

So I've been here for three weeks now. I work 50 plus hours. By choice. I love my job. I have no idea how New York will pan out for me but at the moment it's seeming to have a pretty bright future.

I've done way more cooking here than I ever have in my entire life. Meaning I have never cooked before. Every one is enjoying it though so I think I may keep it up. It's nice to have a sense of community here for me.
